BEHIND “SPARK”

Axelle Baril is the founder of Spark. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Event Management and Business Administration from SUNY Delhi. She speaks four languages: Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, and English.

By day, she works at a Luxembourgish law firm, balancing her professional role there with running Spark. She is also the Events and Creative Programs Manager at Atizay, an art nonprofit, and previously worked as an Event Coordinator at Atelier Artist in Brooklyn, New York.

Her interest in planning and styling gatherings began at home, where etiquette and hosting were valued. She learned much of what she knows about welcoming people from her mother.

Over time, that foundation developed into a focus on grazing tables designed to encourage flow, connection, and shared experiences. She approaches each table with intention, creating spaces where people feel comfortable and engaged.
